“ Hands down makes the best burgers. Quality patty and bun. Definitely not a McDonald's or Burger King type burger. Fries are nice and crispy. Actually better than McDonald's which I swore by as a kid. Service can be hit and miss at this location. Not always personable and rarely get a thank you from the person handing your food. ”

“ The Public Market in Emeryville location is awesome. Fast and friendly people working. There was a woman named BRENDA who make me the most amazing shake (and yes it was an adult beverage). It was sooo good I could easily drink one each day like coffee. Make sure you see Brenda when you get there. The variety and food quality is excellent. I had a burger made my way. You can’t beat the pricing on a veggie burger from this place, and it feels like an upscale American fast-food place while still having somewhat-comparable prices. I got their strawberry-shortcake milkshake, and it took a minute for it to be ready which I think was because of the volume of orders. The ambience inside is a bit loud but also nice, and I love the public market in general because you can easily sit down and watch a sports game or head outside for a walk. It’s super kid friendly, too; we went outside to a cute play structure that was just outside, making this place a great stop if you’re on the go and want to just keep moving with a milkshake or something warm in hand. ”
